How can I add a tool (wiki, blog) for my students to use?

You can add a tool to the main Course Menu or to any content page. In this example, we will add a Wiki to the Course Menu. The steps are the same for any tool you want to add.

  1. From any page in your course, click the + at the top of the Course Menu.
  2. Click Tool Link.
  3. Enter a name for the tool.
  4. Click the pull-down list and select the tool you want to add.
  5. Check the box to make the tool Available to Users.
  6. Click Submit. The tool appears at the bottom of the Course Menu. You can drag and drop it to the desired location on the course menu.
